Sep 20, 2015. #2. You can drive with the DPF delete Tune, with the DPF still in. But not the other way around. The car will attempt to do a Regen and you will get a bunch of extra fuel dumped into the exhaust expecting to be burnt in the DPF and its not there and bad things can happen. Hella smoke and maybe fire out the tail pipe.

My experience is that all supposed “reman” filters are just cleaned good cores. I have 36 years with oem dealers in the trucking field and Dealers and manufactures have mislead the industry from the first reman filter they ever cleaned whether its Cummins,Detroit,Paccar or International and others.

EGR tube removal (credit to Aaron/VA): 1. Locate EGR tube on backside of engine block, near heater hoses and firewall. 2. Remove 2 10mm bolts from EGR tube intake plate. 3. Run your hand down the tube and locate the EGR sensor wire, trace this wire back and unplug it from connection on rear of engine block.

Apply the product directly to the particulate filter through the pressure sensor tube or by removing an oxygen or temperature sensor. Replacing the sensors is easy, just put the same coloured plug sensor in the place where you took it from on the DPF and away you go. The DPF light will clear itself, no need to see a workshop. Just go for a drive. Matt's worth talking to and his service is impeccable.
Ensure the DPF sits securely on the filter rack, then close and secure the lid. Start the "Soot Sucker". Next press p1 on the key pad of the "Trap Burner", then press the start button. The display will then prompt to press 1 if there is oil or fluids in the DPF or to press 2 if there is no oil or fluids present.
Dec 30, 2015. #1. My Landcruiser 200 2014 diesel indicated Dpf full. i drove 50km at high speed as recommended and even performed a dpf regeneration with the dpf switch. The message is still there so I took the car to my garage where it was checked with a Computer. This indicated that one of the filters was ok and regeneration had worked on it
