The dash display mentioned something about a Fault System being unavailable and something about the Transmission. He's been driving his mother's car for a week and the LR3 has sat in the driveway until he could take it to a local repair shop (the nearest Land Rover dealership is 4 hours away!). On start it comes up as transmission fault limited gears available no special programs avaliable. Suspension is on the bump stops and does not move in any shape or form. Step one here would be to pull the battery, remove the cover for the TCCM, and check it, and its connectors for any water/corrosion. I'd bet money on Dave - this happens a lot to unsuspecting pressure washed engine bays ;-) This is an older thread, you may not receive a response, and could be reviving an old thread. zb4a.
