On start it comes up as transmission fault limited gears available no special programs avaliable. Suspension is on the bump stops and does not move in any shape or form. As i got the car from another gent whom had the same idea as i simple fix put it back on the road, he thought the transmission was shot so installed a replacement from a wreaker.

For three years my disc 3 has been dropping in and out of limp mode and showing warning “auto transmission fault, some gears not available” and HDC fault it has been back and fore garage all through covid they have changed EGR valves (4), turbo valve on top, turbo pipe, suspension cylinder (sorry don’t know right names for these things) multiple
Step one here would be to pull the battery, remove the cover for the TCCM, and check it, and its connectors for any water/corrosion. I'd bet money on Dave - this happens a lot to unsuspecting pressure washed engine bays ;-) This is an older thread, you may not receive a response, and could be reviving an old thread.
