(Underground 2, Most Wanted, Carbon) Discussion What is the general consensus here? Is NFS Heat worthy as a successor to the best of the series?NFS: Porsche Unleashed, High Stakes, Most wanted (2015), Carbon, The Run. Rivals. (Yes, rivals, I didn't have it on PC it wasn't a mess for me as such and it reminded me a lot of the very first NFS in terms of the venues and the dream of being able to power amazing super cars down long winding stretches of road.)
Rivals is ALL about the cat/mouse game. You have more flexibility as both a driver and racer in this game compared to Hot Pursuit. While in Hot Pursuit, you're restricted to a defined course, Rivals allows you to drive whatever route you want. -Most Wanted features only a number of preset pursuits / courses.

heat is like a glorious return to the old good need for speed games I have not played Heat but I may look into it. What I liked most about Most Wanted was the attention to detail they took to everything; especially the police. I don't think any NFS so far has come close to matching or being better than the police from Most Wanted.
The title of this game is the best nfs ever. Graphics just killing evenin 2024 it looks stunning better than unbound and heat. Also it has the coolest physics ever.I love the handling with a great drifting feature and camera that moves with it. This nfs I may separate from all others where I feel the speed and enjoying driving. So immersive.

The original Most Wanted, and the 2012 one are both really good. I pretty much 100% the 2012 most wanted in like a weekend, so don't pay a lot for it, but like as a game it's very fun.
